No

Can I wear a chain or empty bullet shell belt?

Yes, you can – but if the CEIA metal detector goes off, you will be further searched using a secondary method.

Are there any health policies or guidelines?

Not at this time.

Where is The Echo + Echoplex located?

Located in the heart of Echo Park, The Echo and Echoplex have two separate entrances.

The entrance to Echo is located at 1822 Sunset Blvd. 

The entrance to Echoplex is located through the alley at 1154 Glendale Blvd.

By Car

From the 101 Freeway Southbound: Take Glendale Blvd. exit, turn left onto Temple and right onto Glendale Bvd., continue to Echo Park Blvd to Sunset Blvd.

From the 101 Freeway Northbound: Take Alvarado exit, turn left onto Alvarado, proceed to Sunset Blvd and turn right.

Venue Parking

There is ample street parking in the area and most meters end at 9 pm if not earlier. Public lots within walking distance of the venues located off of Sunset Blvd & Lemoyne. When parking in the neighborhood, keep an eye out for permit only parking signs. 

Go Metro

North Bound – Take the Metro line #2 to Alvarado / Montana

South Bound – Metro local line 92 to Glendale /Park or Metro Local line 4 to Sunset / Park.

Metro Bike Share: There are dozens of Metro Bike Share stations throughout L.A., offering convenient car-free access to Echo Park.

Rideshares

Uber/LYFT – Rideshares and pick up and drop-offs are encouraged.

Is there venue parking? Is it free?

The venue does not have a parking lot. There is street parking in the area and most meters end at 9pm – if not earlier. Keep an eye out for permit parking on some streets.

Public lots within walking distance of the venues can be found at PARKING IN LA under Central – find Lot 643, 662, 663, 676, 679.

What are the hours of the Echo / Echoplex?

Door times can be found on ticketing page, social media outlets, and website. 

If I don’t have a photo ID, can I still get into the venue?

You MUST be 18+ with Valid ID to enter the venue unless it is an All Ages show. Accepted forms of ID are current and non-expired: State Issued ID or Driver’s License, Military & Passport ID.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Please use the direct link from our website events page. We only accept Live Nation/Ticketmaster tickets unless otherwise noted for a specific show. We are not responsible for 3rd party resold tickets.

Are there in and outs?

No

Are there ATMs Available?

No. The Echo and Echoplex are cashless venues. If you need an atm, Citibank, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo are nearby.

Can I take photos and videos? What is Live Nation’s policy?

Absolutely no professional cameras (any camera with a removable lens) or recording devices are allowed without a photo pass. Further restrictions do apply, even with a photo pass. Venue enforces shooting professional photos during the first 3 songs with no flash, and requires a photo release. Camera phones are allowed and Instagramming is encouraged at most shows. Camera phones and nonprofessional cameras are at the discretion of the artist performing, so please check the photo policy at the door. 

I’m a photographer/blogger. How do I get a photo/press pass?

Please contact the artist you would like to photograph about getting a photo pass for their show at one of our venues. We at The Echo cannot grant photo passes–as it is the artist’s decision as to who they want photographing them. Same policy stands for press passes – please contact the artist’s label or publicist for this. Unfortunately, we cannot give you this contact information.

Are there hotels near by?

There are a number of hotels and motels in the nearby area in Chinatown, Silverlake, Echo Park, Downtown, and along Sunset Blvd.

Help! I lost something or left something at the venue!

Please send us an email to [email protected] with as much information as possible and a manager will get back to you as soon as they can. You can also stop by on show nights after the posted door time to speak to a manager.

Are you handicap accessible?

Our onsite amenities are 100% handicap accessible. If special assistance is required, our venue staff will be more than happy to assist. Please email [email protected] with your name, phone number, show you’re attending and number of guests.

Does the venue allow service animals?

We follow State and Federal legislature on the matter.

What is your refund policy?

All sales are final. We don’t offer refunds or exchanges unless a show is canceled. Please keep in mind that support acts and set times are subject to change at any time and this does not warrant a refund.

Is The Echo/Echoplex hiring?
